The temple is facing east with a 5 tier Rajagopuram and a 3 tier Rajagopuram on the south side. Dwajasthambam, balipeedam and Rishabam are after the east side Rajagopuram. There is also a 3 tier Rajagopuram on the south side. Stucco Dwarapalakas are at the entrance of sanctum sanctorum. In koshtam, Vinayagar, Dakshinamurthy, Maha Vishnu, Brahma and Durgai.
In Praharam, Anantha Vinayagar, Sri Valli Devasena Subramaniar, Sri Anantha Perumal ( Perumal is with Sridevi and Bhudevi ), Sri Padmavathi Thayar, Ayyappan, Anjaneyar, Nalvars, Navagrahas, Nagars, Garudan in front of Perumal sannidhi along with balipeedam.
ARCHITECTURE
The temple complex has the Shiva and Vishnu Temples. Shiva temple consists of sanctum sanctorum, ardha mandapam, and maha mandapam. The complete temple was constructed with bricks and Cement concrete. A 3 tier Vesara Vimanam is on the sanctum sanctorum.
HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
The 1858 CE inscription was recorded in – Chennai Ma Nagara Kalvettukkal- சென்னை மாநகர கல்வெட்டுக்கள் Published by Tamil Nadu Archaeological Department.

Shiva, Ambal and Perumal sannidhi Vimanas, Ayyappan Sannidhi, East ( 5 Tiers ) and South Rajagopurams ( 3 tier ), thirupani was started on 25th April 1991 and Maha kumbhabhishekam was conducted after completion.
POOJAS AND CELEBRATIONS
Apart from regular poojas, special poojas are conducted on Pradosham, Maha Shivaratri, Vaikunta ekadasi, Vinayagar Chaturthi etc.

The temple will be kept opened between 07.00 hrs to 11.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs.
