Some of the important details are..
The temple is facing east with balipedam and Nandhi. The temple tank with bloomed lotus flowers is on the back side. The Temple consists of sanctum and arthamandapam. Koshtas are empty. An ekathala vimana is on the sanctum. Around the temple are some loose sculptures of Dakshinamurthy, Jyesta Devi / Thavvai, a Headless Amman.

The original Chozha period temple was reconstructed about 100 to 200 years back. The adhisthana is of simple pathabhandha adhisthana with tripatta kumuda.
