After Keshavaram Anaikkattu,   we continued  further  to Keshavaram Shiva Temple on the south banks of the river Koovam. This is a continuation post to Koovam Temples Visit, happened on 13th October 2015. Considering easy access to this temple details, this temple is written & updated separately.

The name Keshavarm/ Kesavaram came after name of Lord Shiva of this temple. Since this is a mukthi sthalam, Shiva’s consort is not there. The temple is in a bad shape in the midst of paddy field and there is no proper approach road.

Gajaprishta Vimanam – completely of stone structure- Narasimhar on the top

To reach this temple we have to negotiate through the bounds of paddy field. The rain in the previous night made our walk further more difficult.
