01st December 2019.
The Visit to this temple was a part of  Pallava and Chozha Period Temples scheduled on 01st December 2019.  After Vasavasamudram, Sri Kailasanathar Temple, on the way to Kinar we had seen this dilapidated Shiva temple on the left side of the Road.  It was told that a mandapa was in front of the sanctum and the same was removed for making a platform.

Now the Sanctum with a vimana is standing alone. Moolavar Shiva is of swayambhu and in worship. A Bhairavar idol is in front of the sanctum. The adhisthana is of  pathabandha adhisthana with tripatta kumuda built with granite stone. The sanctum and Vimana was built  with brick The wall has koshtas. The plastering has been peeled off many places and brick is visible.

The temple may belongs to to Vijayanagara Nayak period. Lord Shiva is waiting for some one who takes care or waiting to give blessings to some one.
