The visit to the above Temples on the banks of Sarva Theertam Kulam was as a part of 2020 Maha Shivaratri Temples Visit, on 21st February 2020.This Gangadheeswarar temple is on the eastern banks of Sarva Theertam Kulam.
This Sri Kasiviswanathar temple is on the west banks of Sarva Theertam Kulam. The 18th Century saint Sri Sivagnana Swamikal, had written the sthalapurana of this temple in Kanchipuranam under Sarva Theerta Padalam.

பாற்றினம் மிடைந்த கூர்வாய்ப் படைமழுக் குடங்கைப் புத்தேள்

நாற்றிசை அணவுஞ் சீர்த்தி நளிபுனல் சருவ தீர்த்த
மேற்றிசைக் கரைக்கண் மேவும் விச்சுவ நாதத் தானம்

Some of the salient features of this temple are...
The temple is facing east with and entrance arch. Balipedam and Nandhi, Vinayagar, Sri Valli Devasena Subramaniyar are in the center of Muthi / Mukthi Mandapam. Moolavar is in the Sanctum Sanctorum facing east. A Pallava period icon of Somaskandar is on the back side wall of sanctum sanctorum.
There are 9 Bas reliefs on the south side wall, 5 bas reliefs are on the west side wall and 3 bas-reliefs are on the north side wall. Mahishasuramardini, Maha Vishnu, Vinayagar, Murugan, Dakshinamurthy, Sandikeswarar and Bhairavar are also there.
The temple consists of sanctum Sanctorum, arthamandapa and a Mukthimandapa. The Mukthi mandapa pillars are of 4 and 8 flat faces. It is believed that the original temple was built during 7th to 8th Century Pallava period.
LEGEND:
It is believed that all the Shiva temples of this universe are in the Mukthi mandapa in the form of Suksma / Cutcumam. This temple is the best when compared with Kasi. Also it is believed that the Mukthi mandapa which was not destroyed even during piralaya. Those who getup in the early morning and worship Lord Shiva in this mandapa will obtain mukthi.

HOW TO REACH:
This temple is on the bank of Sarva Theertam Kulam and Kanchipuram to Vellore Road.
About 2.4 KM from Kanchipuram Bus stand, 2.0 KM from Kanchipuram Railway Station, 27 KM from Arakkonam Railway Junction and 75 KM from Chennai Central Station.
Nearest Railway Station is Kanchipuram and Nearest Railway Junction is Arakkonam.
